Somatic Sculpting is a unique movement method designed to reshape and restore your body safely, gently, and effectively—whether you are new to exercise, returning after injury, or an experienced student seeking deeper results.
If you are new to movement, recovering from injury, or experiencing discomfort in the back, hips, neck, or shoulders, I recommend beginning with Somatic Reset. This foundational program gently releases long-held muscular tension in the centre of the body, helping the nervous system and fascia soften, reorganise, and return muscles to their natural length and ease.
True reshaping and healthy ageing begin with Somatic Reset. As muscles relax and lengthen, the waistline becomes more defined, the abdominals gently flatten, and the back and posture soften and lift. This creates the ideal base for all future sculpting work.
Once you have completed Somatic Reset and experienced your first Barre workout, you may move confidently into the full range of Somatic Sculpting classes. I encourage you to watch the Somatic Sculpting Concepts videos, which explain the principles and terminology used throughout the workouts and help you gain the greatest benefit from each session.
If you are already exercising regularly, you are welcome to begin with any Zoom recording or on-demand video that suits your body and schedule.
Somatic philosophy and mindful movement are woven into every workout to enhance awareness, deepen results, and support both visible change and long-term wellbeing.

If you're new to exercising, recovering from injury or experiencing back, hip, neck or shoulder pain then I'd recommend starting with Somatic Reset to gently release tight, contracted and painful muscles in the centre of the body.
Reshaping the body and reversing ageing begins with Somatic Reset. The movements relax and lengthen muscles. The waist line will lengthen, abdominals will flatten and back muscles will soften and relax.
Once you've completed Somatic Reset ,and experienced your first barre workout, you can then move on to any of the other workouts. Please make sure you've registered and become familiar with the Somatic Sculpting Concepts. These short videos are to help you understand the terminology and principles we apply to the exercises and Somatic movements.
If you're a regular exerciser you can dive right in with any Zoom recording or video.

Hi, I’m Sandra — and welcome. Thank you for being here.
With over 25 years of experience in the movement and fitness industry, my passion is helping people reshape their bodies safely, gently, and effectively in the shortest time possible. I’m not driven by trends or extremes, but by curiosity, science, and a deep commitment to what truly works for the body.
I certified as a Callanetics Instructor in 2001 and went on to teach for nearly two decades in my boutique studio on the Gold Coast, Queensland. In 2006, I was honoured to be selected as Lead Presenter for the updated Callanetics DVDs, Callanetics Evolution. That experience sparked a deeper exploration into how I could evolve the method to better support the real challenges my students were facing.
As many of my students struggled with chronic back, hip, knee, and neck pain, I began integrating precise alignment principles and Somatic movement based on the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. This allowed the nervous system and fascia to participate fully in the exercises, removing guesswork from posture and creating faster, deeper, and more sustainable results.
From this work, Somatic Sculpting was born — a unique method that blends Callanetics, Barre principles, and Somatic movement to reshape the body with intelligence and care. My approach is designed for people who are busy, time-poor, or prefer to exercise at home, and who want to both feel and see meaningful changes without intimidation or strain.
These workouts are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. They are gentle, non-impact, and deeply effective. With consistent practice, students often experience visible body-sculpting results alongside reduced pain, improved posture, and a renewed sense of confidence in their bodies.
